Jimmy Choo Announces An October IPO

Jimmy Choo is expected to pursue an initial public offering in October in London. Parent company JAB Holdings will sell at least a 25 percent stake of the brand’s holding company, Jimmy Choo Limited. The IPO could value the company at more than $1.1 billion and would make it the first stand-alone shoe brand to be publicly traded. Designer apparel and accessories fare especially well in these markets, as do shoes, which are often an entry-point to more expensive luxury purchases in the future.
